Prayers for Boston

Yesterday, a sad and tragic event occurred in Boston. It's hard to imagine what the people there are thinking and feeling at this time. I was still a youngster (7th grade) when September 11 happened, and I remember coming home from school being scared. As a teacher I've been through fire drills, tornado drills, and safety drills for intruders. I know that these drills scare some of the younger kids, and maybe some older ones too. I'll admit, my heart beats a little faster during these drills as well. Some kiddos might be scared after seeing or hearing about the events of yesterday on TV. There's no doubt that teachers are reassuring their students today. * I AM NO EXPERT IN CHILD PSYCHOLOGY , BUT AS A TEACHER HERE ARE SOME THINGS I WOULD SAY TO MY STUDENTS* 1.
