Whoo! It is Friday!! The weather has been turning around and it is finally getting nice again. Not humid or rainy like it has been for most of this week. I'm linking up with Lauren like usual, and here is what I am loving about this week! 1. I used my small curling wand for the first time in a long time, and I loved the results! I snapped a picture to document my good hair day! 2. I am starting to add PiYo into my workout routine. It is a combo of pilates and yoga, and looks like it can get pretty intense. 3. I watched the NBA Draft last night, and was excited to see 2 of my beloved Duke players get drafted! Good luck to Jabari, and Rodney! 4. Can you believe the 4th of July is almost here? I sure can't! 5. I have been making hot mint tea with fresh mint from the garden...SO GOOD! What have you loved about this week? Leave me a comment and let me know!

It is Friday! Unfortunately, I have been suffering with allergies this past week and I have had a sore throat off and on. It is a a major bummer. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that my allergies break soon. As usual, I'm linking up with Lauren ! Anyway, here is what I loved about this week! 1. I picked up these BEAUTIFUL strawberries from a local Amish man. They are delicious, and need no sugar at all! 2. Did  you see my completed Summer Projects so far? I am loving the results! I have a few more areas I want to tackle, so I will make sure you see those too! 3. I am well aware that I have a slight obsession with lip products. They are my drug of choice. 4. Today is the first day this week where I woke up and it wasn't raining. Sunshine is always good to wake up to! 5. I am signed up for a 5k! I'm definitely walking it, but it should be a super fun time!! What did you love about this week? Leave me a comment and let me know!

Colorful Casual OOTD

It has been HUMID here in PA for the past week and a half. I haven't even bothered doing my hair because you are instantly sweaty and your curls fall. I was heading out for some casual shopping and was very colorful in my outfit choices! So I wanted to share the look with you! Outfit Details: Tank: Old Navy Scarf: Old Navy Jean Capris: ?  Shoes: Wal-Mart If you have a colorful shirt and fun scarf, pair it with some cute jeans and you have yourself a easy and colorful summer outfit! Do you have the right wardrobe pieces to replicate this outfit? Leave me a comment and let me know, I'd love to hear from you!

Summer Projects Before/After

Remember this post when I told you I needed to organize my life? Well, now that school is out I have done just that! The thing about these projects, is that they took me no more than 1-1.5 hours tops. I got rid of all kinds of junk that I wasn't using. Sock Drawer: This drawer was a mess! I had trouser socks thrown all throughout the drawer. I had multiple pairs of socks with holes in them. So I threw them away. I had back up pairs of socks, and trouser socks so I can add when these ones get holey. I also needed to save some space in my drawer, so I rolled my socks and tied them with a clear elastic. This way, I can stack them on top of one another and saved a lot of room! I also added my cubes for my wax warmer in a small basket, and I put my glasses in there as well. Center Drawer: This drawer is a mismash of things. Everything was a disheveled mess. I had lipsticks in there that I haven't used in years so I tossed them. I had manuals, and receipts in there that n

June Ipsy Bag

My lovely Ipsy bag arrived in the mail the other day. I actually opened it in the car because I did not want to wait until I got home to see what was in my bag! This month was great, it was like the folks at Ipsy somehow got inside my brain and knew what I wanted to try! Here is what was in my bag! The bag this month was designed by Rebecca Minkoff. I drool over her bags on her website. I will be able to afford one of those bags one day! NYX| Butter Gloss-Eclair: I have wanted to try these glosses for SO long! I tried this, and it did not disappoint. It is so glossy, and I like the color. I definitely will be purchasing another one of these in a different color! Be A Bombshell| Lash Out Mascara: I have not tried this, because I just got a Mally Mascara, but once I use that I will try this one. The brush is slightly tapered on one end to get those inner corner lashes. DERMAdoctor| DD Cream: This sample will be nice because it has SPF 30. It is self adjusting to your skin to

Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Pie Recipe

Today, I am switching things up and linking up with Shay, from Mix and Match Mama! Have you read her blog? Oh my goodness, every time I read her blog I have to wipe the drool from my mouth because all of the food looks so good! You should check out her family blog too. Her kiddos are just precious, and I love that they are a Christian family. On her blog today, we are sharing our favorite Summer desserts! I mean, how good does this look? I have two words for you... peanut butter and chocolate. Need I say more? I will, because this recipe is just TOO GOOD ! I came across this recipe while clipping coupons. Look closely, there are some great recipes mixed in there! I present to you, Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Pie. Crust Ingredients: No stick cooking spray 1 package Martha White Chocolate Chip muffin mix 4 tablespoons butter softened 1/3 cup salted peanuts chopped (I have also left these out, and it is fine without them too) Filling Ingredients: 1/2 cup creamy peanut

June Birchbox

The wonderful pink box arrived in my mailbox the other day! It is always a good day when beauty products arrive right?! Here is what I got in my box this month! Davines|Shampoo, Conditioner, and All in One Milk: This system is supposed to make your hair softer, and tame frizz. I swear the sun wasn't even out when I took this photo! Silly glare.  English Laundry| Signature for Her: This is a beautiful, yet different scent. Birchbox describes it as woodsy and floral, and I definitely agree. It is not overly floral, and definitely work appropriate. Mally Beauty| Volumizing Mascara: So, so, so excited to try this!! My aunt has been using Mally mascara, and her lashes have been amazing! I am so excited to see how my lashes look after using this! Look for a review once I start using it! *This is full size! Perlier| Shea Almond Body Cream: My skin has been looking a little less hydrated lately, so I need to use this cream. I rarely use lotion, but I will try this! suki| Ex

Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick Review

Shockingly, this took me a long time to try. I kept putting it in the corner because when I would get ready for work, I would grab my go to lip products. Now that I have tried it, this is a great lip product! The Stila Stay All Day Liquid Lipstick goes on with a doe foot applicator, and dries to a matte finish. It feels like there is nothing on your lips, and is not tacky or sticky at all. I recieved this in the color Beso, and it is a true red. Image I put it on at 7:30 in the morning, and by 4:00 that afternoon, it was still on. It did start coming off around 7 pm, 12 hours after I had put it on. A little goes a long way with this lipstick! A tube should last forever! This liquid lipstick did not dry my lips out, and came off easily when I washed my face with an Equate Cleansing Cloth. This retails on the Stila website for $22. Have you ever tried this lipstick? What did you think of it? Leave me a comment , I'd love to hear from you!

Weekend with the Amish

It was the yearly Amish Benefit auction on Saturday. This is otherwise known as Amish donut day! Man, those things are delicious! Since my mom and I go to the local produce and flower auction, we have gotten to know some of the Amish. So it was cool to see these Amish men waving to us, because we have been going to the auctions for so long. Some of the big sellers on Saturday was a red wagon to pull your kiddos around in. It went for $425! Also, pocket watches were going for $175. As usual the flowers were gorgeous, and the food was delightful! I took some pictures of the event to share with you!  These sweet boys were watching the quilts being auctioned.   Can you see why it is hard to only eat one of these? Goodness, these blow Dunkin and Krispy Kreme out of the water!  This quilt was absolutely beautiful! For the Amish being plain people, the work they do with quilts and flowers is colorful and beautiful! (I wish I would have known how much this sold for!)  I've

High Five For Friday

It is Friday! Whoo!!! I'm linking up with Lauren , like I usually do! Here is what was great about this week! 1. Today is the last day of school. Even though I am a substitute, I had over 80 days this year, so the end of school means the end of my work time too! I've had some different experiences this year...like the time I had to give PSSA's to 8th graders, even though I am only certified to teach K-6. 2. I actually started this blog on Sunday...outside...in 90 degrees. It was heavenly. I'm sure I will be doing much more blogging like this during the Summer. 3. My neighbor that I used to babysit is graduating today! Oh goodness, I am old! 4. Next week, I am going to attempt to make my first white pizza. I will fill you in on the recipe if it is good! 5. Tomorrow is the yearly Amish benefit auction! I will be having a donut. #cheatmeal How was your week? I'd love to know about it! Leave me a comment !

This was the item I swore I would never buy. A $20 lipstick. However, things change when you step foot in Ulta. Bad things happen, and you are buying things you didn't know you wanted. What's in my Workout Bag?

I'm going to yoga today so I wanted to share with you what was in my workout bag!  My mom and I absolutely love it, and we are so relaxed afterwards. Plus, with our walking it is nice to stretch out our muscles. Here is what is in my bag!  Socks Yoga mat (Mine is new!)  Wristlet (money, cards, phone *Not pictured)  Outfit Lunchbox with water inside (*Not pictured) Pink Cosmetic bag Inside the small pink bag, I have a hair elastic, bobby pins, a Wet Ones wipe and a comb, and tinted lip balm. This way, if I am out somewhere and am heading to yoga, I can quickly grab what I need to change and feel prepared for class! My bag is just a tote bag I got from a store in Myrtle Beach called Del Sol. The front changes color in the sun! It does the job perfectly! What types of items do you keep in your workout bag? I'd love to see your bags! Leave me a comment and let me know what your workout bag looks like!

What's on my Walls?

*As I am currently writing this, I am outside in 90 degrees in PA. It is glorious! (Although I am in the shade because I could not stand lying on my stomach to get a tan one more instant!)  Today, I am linking up with Andrea over at Momfessionals . I love reading her blog, and I know you will too!  I've linked up with her before for, What's on my Nightstand! Today though, I am going to show you my walls! I am going to show you my bedroom walls, and the hallway leading into my bedroom. The living room is currently being remodeled, and we don't have many pictures up yet. Leading into my bedroom is a picture I took of a rose that is planted outside our house. I absolutely LOVE this picture, and will probably always have it with me. Can you believe I used a simple point and shoot when I took this? Next up is my room! When you first enter my bedroom, to your right is a picture that my mom made when she was younger. The rustic frame matches my bedroom walls perfectly, an
