Amika Dry Shampoo Review

There used to be a time where I had to wash my hair every.single.day. Until I trained it to go every other day. It has been wonderful! Not only does it speed up my get ready time, but it also improves the health of my hair. A crucial aspect of helping my hair be grease free is dry shampoo. One of my favorites is Suave, but I have been trying out a higher end version as well! The Amika dry shampoo is a great option! First of all, this dry shampoo smells AMAZING! If Amika ever came out with a perfume of this scent, I would be first in line to buy it! So, so, so good!! As far as being able to soak up excess oil, this does a great job. Some dry shampoos can get too powdery, and this doesn't. It sprays just enough powder to get an even coat, and doesn't leave your hair looking white. Plus, when you fluff your hair, you still get a whiff of that amazing scent. This dry shampoo would be great for brunettes, because of it not leaving a white cast on the hair. How I use this: I li...

Suave Keratin Dry Shampoo Review

Since trying my first dry shampoo, I have been trying other brands and seeing what kinds I like best. I tried the Suave original and liked it, but the scent was very strong. So I decided to try the Keratin Infusion and see the difference. This has a forceful spray just like the original dry shampoo. One thing that I noticed, is that there is not a white cast to your hair after using this. When you spray it on, it does a good job of absorbing the oil that is on your hair. The only downfall to this one is the scent. It smells like plastic. It doesn't have the grapefruit scent of the original. It doesn't bother me too much tho, so this may work for you! Another thing I noticed is that it does not weigh my hair down. How I use it: I section off my hair and spray this dry shampoo onto each section. I give it a minute to absorb the oils, and then massage my head to remove any excess powder. I style as usual and head on out the door! Dry shampoos are a matter of preference, an...

Favorite Hair Products

I'm the type of person that if my hair isn't done, I feel worthless. Silly, I know. So to try and save my hair and keep it healthy longer, I've tried to wash my hair every other day. Its been a learning curve, and lots of dry shampoo and sock buns, but I'm sticking to it. Here is a list of my go to hair products. Argan Magic Intensive Hair Oil - I absolutely love this hair oil. It makes my hair soft and manageable. It speeds up my blow drying time, and protects my hair from the heat styling products. *I put this on freshly washed hair from my ears down concentrating it on the ends.* Suave Professionals Heat Protective Spray- If I am using my hot rollers, I will use this in addition to the Argan Magic. I use this just as additional protection to heat styling. I like using this with my hot rollers because it doesn't "gunk up" the flocking on my rollers. *I spray this on wet hair after using the Argan Magic, blow dry, and use my heat products.* ...
