This sphere was in the World Trade Center, and was recovered. I took this when I went to NYC in Battery Park. I think if you ask anyone that was around on September 11, they would be able to tell you where they were when they heard about the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center, The Pentagon, and the field in Shanksville, PA. Myself, I was in English class in 7th grade. I remember my mom picking me up from school, and being glued to the television watching the horror unfold. I remember in the days following the terrorist attack, how united we were as a country. Everyone was flying the flag, people were supporting the troops, the Police, Fire Departments, and the First Responders. I wish we could get back to 9-12-11. It didn't matter if you were Republican, Democrat, or Independent. Our home was being attacked, and by golly we weren't going to stand that! We were flying our flag and proud to be an American!
