Surely I can't be the only one that struggles with getting that big, beautiful, ballerina bun. I've tried the sock method, and sometimes it works, sometimes it is a complete failure. I needed something quick and easy. I was looking in the hair section of my local Wal-Mart, and I stumbled upon this little device. It was $5, and I thought, "might as well give it a try." I wanted something to use on second day hair that will still look cute and chic. The Perfect Bun by Remington has wire encased in foam, with a hole in the center. (See photo). The idea is to pull your hair into a ponytail, slip the hair through the hole, twist and bend the foam piece into a bun shape. I had some reservations when using this because I have layers in my hair. This works for me! I couldn't believe how simple it was!  I have been using this on second day hair. Remember these? The Bump-It, Topsy Tail, and the Part Pizazz. I still use these on a semi-regular basis, and feel like no one talks about these tools any more. Not pictured, Part Pizazz. Bump-It- My hair is flat. On a good day I can get some good volume with the help of some styling products but not enough to notice a huge difference. Enter, bump-its. I saw the infomercial years ago, and thought that it looked legit. I looked online and read some reviews and watched some tutorials and went ahead and bought it. I love using this on second day hair! It stays in place with a little teasing, and gives me nice volume at the crown. I can either wear my hair pulled back in a ponytail, or half up with a headband. Let me let you in on a little secret about me. If my hair isn't done, I feel worthless. I could have Mally Roncal do my makeup and if my hair wasn't done, I wouldn't feel beautiful. Does anyone else feel that way? Please comment me and let me know I'm not the only one! So being that my hair is probably the longest it has ever been, (loving it) I have been able to use different styling tools on it. Here are a few of my favorites! Styling Wands:  L-R Remington T Studio and Conair Infiniti Helen of Troy 3/4" and 1 and 1/2" Conair Infiniti You Curl: This iron will give you the Taylor Swift curls if you take small sections. This starts at 1" and ends at a 1/2". I like to use this on days I will be traveling or doing a lot of running around because the curls hold so well!
