Favorite Stocking Stuffers

I'm back! I've missed you readers! I will fill you in on my absence later in the week, but tomorrow is the first day of December! What?! I am sure this month will absolutely fly by. Today, I'm linking up with Andrea to share with you some of my favorite stocking stuffers.

A lot of my stocking growing up were mainly filled with some essentials. Even now, my stocking is filled with little goodies, but there is always an orange at the bottom. Here are a few items that I've put in the stockings I've filled, and also I've received in my stockings.

I love getting little beauty items in my stocking. Lipstick or lip balm, nail polish, headbands, perfume, and mini lotions are great!

I think essential items are also useful. There is always those tiny things that you use every day that you forget to replace. Toothbrush heads, or a toothbrush, Tide to go pens, socks (you know you have holes in your socks!), and accessories for your phone.

If you wanted to fill your stocking with some things for your home, you can always get scented wax melts, a CD, or small appetizer tongs.

These are just a few items that I have been known to give and receive!

Cooking for a Crowd: Spaghetti Sauce

My family likes to save money when we have parties. One way to do so is to cook everything ourselves, instead of hiring a caterer. Today, I wanted to give you a recipe for spaghetti sauce that will feed a crowd. This recipe is best made in an 18 quart roast pan. We bought most of our sauces and tomato paste at Costco. Ingredients: 2 onions 3 cans diced tomatoes 2 #10 cans of tomato sauce 1 #10 can on spaghetti sauce 1 heaping tsp of garlic minced 2 (28 oz) cans of crushed tomatoes 4 (6 oz) cans of tomato paste 1 tsp sugar Onion and garlic salt, italian seasoning, parsley, oregano to taste 1 pound of each: ground meat, hot and sweet sausage Look at the deliciousness! In a skillet brown your meat and sausage in a little oil. Once browned place off to the side. *Warning: this will be a long post, and picture heavy!* :) Strictly based on the title alone I should have caught your attention! Sunday was the Alex Goot concert. It was at bar in Pittsburgh, and there were about 5 acts to the show! You definitely got your money's worth! I went with my cousin, Allie (you can find her blog here! ) and it was just a fun girls night! The show was in a bar which used to be an old church, so it was very pretty inside. We got there around 6, parked, and only had to stand in line for 10 minutes before we got to go inside. When we went in, we got our tickets scanned and BAM , there was Landon Austin and Luke Conard at their merchandise table. So, because I somehow gained oodles of confidence*, Allie and I went over and I said "Hi Landon!" He said "hi" back and asked me my name.
