DIY Marker Board

I was looking for something fun to add to my room to brighten it up a bit. I found this tutorial on Pinterest, and finally decided to try it. The best part? It was so simple!


All you need is an 8x10 picture frame, scrapbook paper, and a vis a vis marker. All I did was use the template in the frame to cut the size of my scrapbook paper. I placed it inside the frame, applied the back, and flipped it over.

I took the vis a vis marker and wrote a message on the glass. I like that marker because it lasts, and I can just wash it off with some Windex.

I had this green paper in mine frame for a while, but now that the holidays are here, I swapped it out for some gold sparkly paper.

This is simple right? If you are looking for some last minute gifts, this is a great idea!

My family likes to save money when we have parties. One way to do so is to cook everything ourselves, instead of hiring a caterer. YouTube-a-palooza

*Warning: this will be a long post, and picture heavy!*  :) Strictly based on the title alone I should have caught your attention! Sunday was the Alex Goot concert. It was at bar in Pittsburgh, and there were about 5 acts to the show!  You definitely got your money's worth! I went with my cousin, Allie (you can find her blog here! ) and it was just a fun girls night! The show was in a bar which used to be an old church, so it was very pretty inside. We got there around 6,  parked, and only had to stand in line for 10 minutes before we got to go inside. When we went in, we got our tickets scanned and  BAM , there was Landon Austin and Luke Conard at their merchandise table. So, because I somehow gained oodles of confidence*, Allie and I went over and I said "Hi Landon!"  He said "hi" back and asked me my name. High Five for Friday

Friday is here again! It is always a wonderful way to bring in the weekend. Here is what I loved this week. 1. I made another visit to Freedom Farms. I bought some apples, and bread. 2. I absolutely loved my Birchbox and Ipsy bags this month! The Ipsy review is coming tomorrow! 3. I am subbing today and I got to wear my jeans to school. I love days like that. 4.
