Holiday Home Tour

I wanted to share part of my Holiday home tour with you. I’m starting off in my favorite space, my bedroom! It is just the coziest spot, and I can’t wait to just lay by the light of the tree after a long work day.

My Nutcrackers are gifted to me by my grandma, and my collection keeps growing.

This reindeer came from Kirkland’s and I love how it looks on my door!

I can’t take credit for this, my mom does all the magic on the trees.

This is on my dresser, and the snowflake candle holder is from Wal-Mart. The taller ones are from Kirkland’s, and Injust have battery operated votives in there. I have a Christmas book that I have been reading in a picture easel as well.

This is my inspiration corner. This is where I have my devotional, Bible, and wax warmer on there. The canvas is lighted, and I got it through a company that comes and sets up a display at work.

Cooking for a Crowd: Spaghetti Sauce

My family likes to save money when we have parties. One way to do so is to cook everything ourselves, instead of hiring a caterer. Today, I wanted to give you a recipe for spaghetti sauce that will feed a crowd. This recipe is best made in an 18 quart roast pan. We bought most of our sauces and tomato paste at Costco. Ingredients: 2 onions 3 cans diced tomatoes 2 #10 cans of tomato sauce 1 #10 can on spaghetti sauce 1 heaping tsp of garlic minced 2 (28 oz) cans of crushed tomatoes 4 (6 oz) cans of tomato paste 1 tsp sugar Onion and garlic salt, italian seasoning, parsley, oregano to taste 1 pound of each: ground meat, hot and sweet sausage Look at the deliciousness! In a skillet brown your meat and sausage in a little oil. Once browned place off to the side. *Warning: this will be a long post, and picture heavy!* :) Strictly based on the title alone I should have caught your attention! Sunday was the Alex Goot concert. It was at bar in Pittsburgh, and there were about 5 acts to the show! You definitely got your money's worth! I went with my cousin, Allie (you can find her blog here! ) and it was just a fun girls night! The show was in a bar which used to be an old church, so it was very pretty inside. We got there around 6, parked, and only had to stand in line for 10 minutes before we got to go inside. When we went in, we got our tickets scanned and BAM , there was Landon Austin and Luke Conard at their merchandise table. So, because I somehow gained oodles of confidence*, Allie and I went over and I said "Hi Landon!" He said "hi" back and asked me my name. Hi! Do you remember me and this little blog? I've been thinking about starting this blog back up again, and I am just going to jump in with both feet and go for it!
