Put A Lid On It Review

This post is a review of a new favorite eyeshadow primer. I have been using this primer by The Balm, and love the consistency, and staying power. The Put A Lid On It primer has a silky texture. It is colorless.

I apply a small amount of this on my eyelid, blending all the way to my brow bone. Then I apply my shadows. By using this primer, my shadows apply smoother and last longer. This also goes on clear, unlike some primers.

The Balm always knocks it out of the park when it comes to packaging. I received a full size of this when I purchased my Meet Matte Nude palette.

*I have oily eyelids. This doesn't give me all day wear, but it definitely helps them to last much longer than usual.*

Cooking for a Crowd: Spaghetti Sauce

My family likes to save money when we have parties. One way to do so is to cook everything ourselves, instead of hiring a caterer. Today, I wanted to give you a recipe for spaghetti sauce that will feed a crowd. This recipe is best made in an 18 quart roast pan. We bought most of our sauces and tomato paste at Costco. Ingredients: 2 onions 3 cans diced tomatoes 2 #10 cans of tomato sauce 1 #10 can on spaghetti sauce 1 heaping tsp of garlic minced 2 (28 oz) cans of crushed tomatoes 4 (6 oz) cans of tomato paste 1 tsp sugar Onion and garlic salt, italian seasoning, parsley, oregano to taste 1 pound of each: ground meat, hot and sweet sausage Look at the deliciousness! In a skillet brown your meat and sausage in a little oil. Once browned place off to the side. *Warning: this will be a long post, and picture heavy!* :) Strictly based on the title alone I should have caught your attention! Sunday was the Alex Goot concert. It was at bar in Pittsburgh, and there were about 5 acts to the show! You definitely got your money's worth! I went with my cousin, Allie (you can find her blog here! ) and it was just a fun girls night! The show was in a bar which used to be an old church, so it was very pretty inside. We got there around 6, parked, and only had to stand in line for 10 minutes before we got to go inside. When we went in, we got our tickets scanned and BAM , there was Landon Austin and Luke Conard at their merchandise table.
