Favorite Accessory

Hi! I feel like I need to reintroduce myself again. I'm Mandii and I write this very blog you are reading. I haven't posted in a while, so hopefully you didn't forget about me!!

I usually post a Motivation Monday post, but today I am linking up with Andrea to share a few of my favorite things! Today I am sharing all about my favorite accessory!

If there is one accessory that I can't get enough of, it would be scarves! I think scarves are the perfect accessory in any type of weather. You can wear a scarf in the summer and not look out of place. I wanted to share with you some of my favorite scarves. (Can we also just take note of the number of times I wrote "scarf" in that paragraph? It's 4!)

The first scarf I get the most wear out of is my chiffon leopard scarf. I was on the hunt for a scarf like this and could not find one! Amazon.com to the rescue! Once I ordered it and it was in my posession, I wore it all the time! I always say that leopard is a neutral, so I have worn it with everything. Including this outfit which I recreated off of Pinterest!
It is hard to see but I have my Burberry scarf on!

This next scarf has been one of my most worn items in the summer! I bought this at Old Navy many years ago. The colors on this scarf go perfect in Spring and Summer. The bright blues, the neon yellow, sunny coral, and the neutral tone prove that this one piece goes with everything!

I can't forget about my Celtic Thunder scarf that I made!! I love this little number, and relish any opportunity I get to wear it!!

I have a number of scarves for all seasons, these are just a few of them! What is your favorite accessory? I'd love to read about them! Leave me a comment and let me know!!

Cooking for a Crowd: Spaghetti Sauce

My family likes to save money when we have parties. One way to do so is to cook everything ourselves, instead of hiring a caterer. Today, I wanted to give you a recipe for spaghetti sauce that will feed a crowd. This recipe is best made in an 18 quart roast pan. We bought most of our sauces and tomato paste at Costco. Ingredients: 2 onions 3 cans diced tomatoes 2 #10 cans of tomato sauce 1 #10 can on spaghetti sauce 1 heaping tsp of garlic minced 2 (28 oz) cans of crushed tomatoes 4 (6 oz) cans of tomato paste 1 tsp sugar Onion and garlic salt, italian seasoning, parsley, oregano to taste 1 pound of each: ground meat, hot and sweet sausage Look at the deliciousness!  In a skillet brown your meat and sausage in a little oil. Once browned place off to the side. Combine your onions, garlic, diced tomatoes, and crushed tomatoes. *Sweat your onions down first, then add the garlic. Then your tomatoes.* Open your tomato sauces and spaghetti sauces (w...

Christmas/New Year's Recap

First, I just want to say that I have absolutely no pictures from Christmas. I'm terrible, I know. In my defense, I was sick all through Christmas and just wasn't feeling "it." I do however, have pictures of some of the gifts I received and New Year's. Christmas Eve dinner was hosted by my parents and I. We had lasagna, wedding soup, salad, bread, and Italian butter. I made a homemade alfredo sauce to go along with the lasagna. I also made the Italian butter, and attempted to make my homemade French bread. This year, the bread did not turn out. For dessert, I made white chocolate raspberry shooters. They were SO good! I will do a recipe on those when I make them again! After everything was cleaned up, we honestly just relaxed. I would have liked to have gone to Christmas Eve service at our church, but I was coughing, clearing my throat every 5 minutes, and blowing my nose every 10. I was a hot mess. My grandparents came back out to our house after church and w...
