Friday Favorites

Hallelujah, today is Friday! I’m linking up with Andrea today to share with you some of my favorites for the week! I;m keeping it short and sweet today with my favorites. It’s the little things that make me happy.

Up first, today is payday! I have not gotten paid since December 23, due to the holiday’s. I’m looking forward to it, but I know that my bills are going to take up a nice chunk of my paycheck. #adulting

Next up is the weather. We are expecting some record snowfall here in Western PA, but I will believe the numbers when I see it for myself. I will say this, it will be nice to see some snow, and be able to stay nice and cozy with lots of coffee and warm drinks.

It’s a three day weekend, so that will be nice to have a Monday off. This next week will be busy and fun at the same time. Tuesday is the Duke game, and I am hoping the weather holds off, and it is decent weather to travel down and back to Pittsburgh in.

Cooking for a Crowd: Spaghetti Sauce

My family likes to save money when we have parties. One way to do so is to cook everything ourselves, instead of hiring a caterer. Today, I wanted to give you a recipe for spaghetti sauce that will feed a crowd. This recipe is best made in an 18 quart roast pan. We bought most of our sauces and tomato paste at Costco. Ingredients: 2 onions 3 cans diced tomatoes 2 #10 cans of tomato sauce 1 #10 can on spaghetti sauce 1 heaping tsp of garlic minced 2 (28 oz) cans of crushed tomatoes 4 (6 oz) cans of tomato paste 1 tsp sugar Onion and garlic salt, italian seasoning, parsley, oregano to taste 1 pound of each: ground meat, hot and sweet sausage Look at the deliciousness! In a skillet brown your meat and sausage in a little oil. Once browned place off to the side. Hi! Do you remember me and this little blog? I've been thinking about starting this blog back up again, and I am just going to jump in with both feet and go for it! In the past what, 4 years since the last post, I have learned a lot, and have a lot to share! YouTube-a-palooza

*Warning: this will be a long post, and picture heavy!* :) Strictly based on the title alone I should have caught your attention! Sunday was the Alex Goot concert. It was at bar in Pittsburgh, and there were about 5 acts to the show! You definitely got your money's worth! I went with my cousin, Allie (you can find her blog here! ) and it was just a fun girls night! The show was in a bar which used to be an old church, so it was very pretty inside. We got there around 6, parked, and only had to stand in line for 10 minutes before we got to go inside. When we went in, we got our tickets scanned and BAM , there was Landon Austin and Luke Conard at their merchandise table. So, because I somehow gained oodles of confidence*, Allie and I went over and I said "Hi Landon!" He said "hi" back and asked me my name.
