Friday Favorites

I'm linking up with Andrea today to share some favorites with you!

The first favorite is that I am on my way to Erie, PA for their annual wine festival! Last year was my first time, and I am hooked! The wineries are beautiful, and they have so many fun events going on throughout the region. (I'm sure I'll be Instagramming a lot, so be sure to check it out throughout the weekend!)

Another favorite has been my new iPhone. I got the 8, and so far I am really liking it. It is definitely a significant upgrade from my 5s that I had.

Something that hasn't been a favorite has been searching for the third book in a series that I am reading. I have read the first two books of Karen Kingsbury's Above the Line series. I found the 4th book at Ollie's for $2.99. I have not been able to find the third book, so I figured I'd try Amazon. Um, are the joking? This book better be written in gold for that price!

My final favorite has been watching my Grandma throughout the past year as the Queen of her nursing home. She had to give up the crown earlier this month, but is she not the cutest queen you've ever seen?

Cooking for a Crowd: Spaghetti Sauce

My family likes to save money when we have parties. One way to do so is to cook everything ourselves, instead of hiring a caterer. Today, I wanted to give you a recipe for spaghetti sauce that will feed a crowd. This recipe is best made in an 18 quart roast pan. We bought most of our sauces and tomato paste at Costco. Ingredients: 2 onions 3 cans diced tomatoes 2 #10 cans of tomato sauce 1 #10 can on spaghetti sauce 1 heaping tsp of garlic minced 2 (28 oz) cans of crushed tomatoes 4 (6 oz) cans of tomato paste 1 tsp sugar Onion and garlic salt, italian seasoning, parsley, oregano to taste 1 pound of each: ground meat, hot and sweet sausage Look at the deliciousness! In a skillet brown your meat and sausage in a little oil. Once browned place off to the side. Hi! Do you remember me and this little blog? I've been thinking about starting this blog back up again, and I am just going to jump in with both feet and go for it! In the past what, 4 years since the last post, I have learned a lot, and have a lot to share! YouTube-a-palooza

*Warning: this will be a long post, and picture heavy!* :) Strictly based on the title alone I should have caught your attention! Sunday was the Alex Goot concert. It was at bar in Pittsburgh, and there were about 5 acts to the show! You definitely got your money's worth! I went with my cousin, Allie (you can find her blog here! ) and it was just a fun girls night! The show was in a bar which used to be an old church, so it was very pretty inside. We got there around 6, parked, and only had to stand in line for 10 minutes before we got to go inside. When we went in, we got our tickets scanned and BAM , there was Landon Austin and Luke Conard at their merchandise table. So, because I somehow gained oodles of confidence*, Allie and I went over and I said "Hi Landon!" He said "hi" back and asked me my name.
