Glade Wax Melts Review

I absolutely love walking into a room and it smells "homey." To me, it makes your home even more personal. One way I scent my home is by using wax melts and a warmer. Picking out the right scent can be tough. Some are too strong and not realistic. The Glade Wax Melts are wonderful. *I'm a BzzAgent, and was sent coupons to use for this review.*

These Glade Wax melts come in a package of 8 cubes.. The package has a slim design, so it won't take up much space for storage. Using my coupon I chose the scent Apple Cinnamon. The scent is a perfect mix of you guessed it, apples and cinnamon! It is not over powering, and does not give me a headache.

If you did not have a wax warmer, Glade has those available to purchase as well. They also have a variety of scents to choose from.
Glade wax on the left, Better Homes and Gardens wax on right.

These melt beautifully! I turn my warmer on and within minutes I can smell the scent. Even when the warmer is turned off, and I walk by it, I can smell the apples and cinnamon. I have melted one cube for the past week and a half, and there is still some scent left in the cube. I would say that these would last 2-2.5 weeks per cube.

I would probably repurchase these however, my Wal-Mart didn't have a wonderful scent selection to choose from. Meanwhile, they have many different varieties of Better Homes and Gardens wax melts. Maybe your store will be different.

I picked my wax cubes up at Wal-Mart. If you wanted to buy these for your home, they are $3.98

Leave me a comment letting me know what you think of the Glade Wax Melts if you have tried them. I'd love to hear from you!

Cooking for a Crowd: Spaghetti Sauce

My family likes to save money when we have parties. One way to do so is to cook everything ourselves, instead of hiring a caterer. Today, I wanted to give you a recipe for spaghetti sauce that will feed a crowd. This recipe is best made in an 18 quart roast pan. We bought most of our sauces and tomato paste at Costco. Ingredients: 2 onions 3 cans diced tomatoes 2 #10 cans of tomato sauce 1 #10 can on spaghetti sauce 1 heaping tsp of garlic minced 2 (28 oz) cans of crushed tomatoes 4 (6 oz) cans of tomato paste 1 tsp sugar Onion and garlic salt, italian seasoning, parsley, oregano to taste 1 pound of each: ground meat, hot and sweet sausage Look at the deliciousness!  In a skillet brown your meat and sausage in a little oil. Once browned place off to the side. Combine your onions, garlic, diced tomatoes, and crushed tomatoes. *Sweat your onions down first, then add the garlic. Then your tomatoes.* Open your tomato sauces and spaghetti sauces (we li

I think to start off, I am going to be blogging on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday's. I think that is a good schedule to start with that won't be overwhelming, and you readers won't get bored.  So in my time off in the blog world, I worked at a clothing boutique and absolutely fell in love with it!
