March Ipsy Bag

It's time for another edition of Makeup Mail Call! This month I want to show you my March Ipsy bag! This month, I received a great mix of products! Some makeup, some skincare, and some haircare! What more could you ask for? Here is what was in my bag this month!

Chella|Ivory Lace Highlighter Pencil: I love that this is in pencil form! I can be really precise, or just draw it on the areas I want to highlight. This is matte and flesh toned so while you are highlighting it looks like you have a glow, and not glittery.

Pur-lisse|4 in 1 Cleanser and Makeup Remover: This is a gentle soy milk cleanser that is said to be non drying and sulfate free. I just bought a new face wash, so trying this will be put on hold for a while.

Coolway|Glow Oil Treatment: I love having hair oil samples for travel! I have never heard of this brand, so I am excited to give this a try!

Marsk|Eyeshadow: I received the color Fifty Shades, and I bet you could tell me what the color is!  ;) This is a loose eyeshadow, and when swatched, has great pigmentation. This will look great in a smokey eye!

NYX|Butter Lipstick: This color is a perfect nude shade on me! This is just a touch lighter than my natural lip color, and it gives me just enough color without washing me out. After trying this lipstick, I'd love to look at the shade selection and see other colors! I will definitely be reviewing this!!

The bag this month was ADORABLE!! It matched the theme of Floral Fantasy perfectly. I love this bag!

Did you love your Ipsy this month? Was your bag different than mine? I'd love to hear from you! Leave me a comment and tell me about your bag!

Cooking for a Crowd: Spaghetti Sauce

My family likes to save money when we have parties. One way to do so is to cook everything ourselves, instead of hiring a caterer. Today, I wanted to give you a recipe for spaghetti sauce that will feed a crowd. This recipe is best made in an 18 quart roast pan. We bought most of our sauces and tomato paste at Costco. Ingredients: 2 onions 3 cans diced tomatoes 2 #10 cans of tomato sauce 1 #10 can on spaghetti sauce 1 heaping tsp of garlic minced 2 (28 oz) cans of crushed tomatoes 4 (6 oz) cans of tomato paste 1 tsp sugar Onion and garlic salt, italian seasoning, parsley, oregano to taste 1 pound of each: ground meat, hot and sweet sausage Look at the deliciousness!  In a skillet brown your meat and sausage in a little oil. Once browned place off to the side. Combine your onions, garlic, diced tomatoes, and crushed tomatoes. *Sweat your onions down first, then add the garlic. Then your tomatoes.* Open your tomato sauces and spaghetti sauces (w...

Christmas/New Year's Recap

First, I just want to say that I have absolutely no pictures from Christmas. I'm terrible, I know. In my defense, I was sick all through Christmas and just wasn't feeling "it." I do however, have pictures of some of the gifts I received and New Year's. Christmas Eve dinner was hosted by my parents and I. We had lasagna, wedding soup, salad, bread, and Italian butter. I made a homemade alfredo sauce to go along with the lasagna. I also made the Italian butter, and attempted to make my homemade French bread. This year, the bread did not turn out. For dessert, I made white chocolate raspberry shooters. They were SO good! I will do a recipe on those when I make them again! After everything was cleaned up, we honestly just relaxed. I would have liked to have gone to Christmas Eve service at our church, but I was coughing, clearing my throat every 5 minutes, and blowing my nose every 10. I was a hot mess. My grandparents came back out to our house after church and w...
