Schick Hydro TrimStyle Review

Despite the rainy weather Pennsylvania has been having lately, summer is here! With the rising temps, there are also other things rising...our hemlines! I was sent the Schick Hydro Trim Style to review because I am a Bzz Agent.

I always hesitate to buy a good razor. First of all, the replacement blades are horribly expensive. Next, I can never find a razor that does a great job at trimming my bikini line. With the Schick Hydro TrimStyle, I don't have to worry about it! I have a razor and trimmer all in one.

The TrimStyle has a razor on one end, and a trimmer on the other. The trimmer has an adjustable comb that has 4 different settings. It is waterproof, and can be left in the shower if you want. The razor has 5 blades that hug the curve of your legs.

This white part can be removed!

After trying this out, I must say that I really like this product! The trimmer was easy to use, especially since I have not used one before. It didn't cut or hurt me in any way. I like the fact that there are adjustable settings that lets me control how close of a shave I want. The razor gives me a close shave without any kicks. Usually when I shave with a disposable razor, it is like the shower scene from Psycho! Haha!

You can't be a two in one product!
The one aspect of this razor that I don't like is the moisturizing serum. When I left this in the shower, the serum became goopy and stringy. I actually pulled the serum off because it expanded so much, and I like the razor much better since it has come off.

Can I see myself buying this razor again? Absolutely! More importantly, even though I didn't like the moisturizing serum, I can see myself buying the replacement blades.

Have you ever tried a two in one razor? Are you a fan of Schick Hydro products? I'd love to hear your thoughts if you've tried this product! Leave me a comment and let me know!

Cooking for a Crowd: Spaghetti Sauce

My family likes to save money when we have parties. One way to do so is to cook everything ourselves, instead of hiring a caterer. Today, I wanted to give you a recipe for spaghetti sauce that will feed a crowd. This recipe is best made in an 18 quart roast pan. We bought most of our sauces and tomato paste at Costco. Ingredients: 2 onions 3 cans diced tomatoes 2 #10 cans of tomato sauce 1 #10 can on spaghetti sauce 1 heaping tsp of garlic minced 2 (28 oz) cans of crushed tomatoes 4 (6 oz) cans of tomato paste 1 tsp sugar Onion and garlic salt, italian seasoning, parsley, oregano to taste 1 pound of each: ground meat, hot and sweet sausage Look at the deliciousness!  In a skillet brown your meat and sausage in a little oil. Once browned place off to the side. Combine your onions, garlic, diced tomatoes, and crushed tomatoes. *Sweat your onions down first, then add the garlic. Then your tomatoes.* Open your tomato sauces and spaghetti sauces (w...

Christmas/New Year's Recap

First, I just want to say that I have absolutely no pictures from Christmas. I'm terrible, I know. In my defense, I was sick all through Christmas and just wasn't feeling "it." I do however, have pictures of some of the gifts I received and New Year's. Christmas Eve dinner was hosted by my parents and I. We had lasagna, wedding soup, salad, bread, and Italian butter. I made a homemade alfredo sauce to go along with the lasagna. I also made the Italian butter, and attempted to make my homemade French bread. This year, the bread did not turn out. For dessert, I made white chocolate raspberry shooters. They were SO good! I will do a recipe on those when I make them again! After everything was cleaned up, we honestly just relaxed. I would have liked to have gone to Christmas Eve service at our church, but I was coughing, clearing my throat every 5 minutes, and blowing my nose every 10. I was a hot mess. My grandparents came back out to our house after church and w...
