September Ipsy Bag

It is time for another "makeup mail call!" This time, I have goodies from Ipsy. Who doesn't love getting makeup in the mail?

This month, the theme was Street Style. They put some useful things in my bag this month that I can't wait to try!
Cailyn| Art Touch Tinted Lip Gloss: If you have read this blog for any length of time, you know I go gaga over lip products. This gloss is a pretty cranberry color, and I absolutely CANNOT wait to wear it! I love a cranberry lip in the Fall/Winter seasons.

Nourish Organic| Moisturizing Cream Face Cleanser: I have not used a cream cleanser in ages, so I was excited to try this out. I tend to stay with gels, so I want to see how this cream one does, and how well it moisturizes my skin!

Mitchell and Peach| Luxury Hand Cream: Since I am getting over a cold, my hands are so dry from consistently washing them. I'm anxious to try this, out and see how it works for my dry hands!

Pacifica| Eyeliner: I have a color very similar to this, so this is going to go in my "give to a friend" basket.

Crown Brush| C476 Crease/Shadow Brush: This was one of the items I was very excited to see. I only use ELF brushes (love them!) but I think I will love this crease brush. The brush seems firm but still soft.

Overall, this month was pretty good! Both of my subscription services know that I love lip products, and they came through! As always, I will give reviews on the items once I have used them enough!

Don't forget to check out my Virtual Yard Sale!

What did you get in your Ipsy bag? Leave me a comment, I'd love to hear from you!!

Cooking for a Crowd: Spaghetti Sauce

My family likes to save money when we have parties. One way to do so is to cook everything ourselves, instead of hiring a caterer. Today, I wanted to give you a recipe for spaghetti sauce that will feed a crowd. This recipe is best made in an 18 quart roast pan. We bought most of our sauces and tomato paste at Costco. Ingredients: 2 onions 3 cans diced tomatoes 2 #10 cans of tomato sauce 1 #10 can on spaghetti sauce 1 heaping tsp of garlic minced 2 (28 oz) cans of crushed tomatoes 4 (6 oz) cans of tomato paste 1 tsp sugar Onion and garlic salt, italian seasoning, parsley, oregano to taste 1 pound of each: ground meat, hot and sweet sausage Look at the deliciousness!  In a skillet brown your meat and sausage in a little oil. Once browned place off to the side. Combine your onions, garlic, diced tomatoes, and crushed tomatoes. *Sweat your onions down first, then add the garlic. Then your tomatoes.* Open your tomato sauces and spaghetti sauces (we li

It's Been Awhile...

Hi! Do you remember me and this little blog? I've been thinking about starting this blog back up again, and I am just going to jump in with both feet and go for it! In the past what, 4 years since the last post, I have learned a lot, and have a lot to share! So if you'll bear with me, I'd love to share some fun tips and tricks and recipes with you here on this little space on the internet.  I will give you a little reintroduction of myself.  I'm Mandii. I'm a small town girl full of random information. Sports facts, check. Fashion tips, oh yeah, I've got those a plenty! Recipes? You're speaking my language. I love all things faith, family, fashion, sports, and food related. Which is exactly what you will find on this space. I love to travel even though I don't do it nearly enough.  I don't know if I am going to commit to a full 5 days on here yet. I'll play it by ear, and if you'll stick with me, I think we can do some great things here!  I&

YouTube-a-palooza

*Warning: this will be a long post, and picture heavy!*  :) Strictly based on the title alone I should have caught your attention! Sunday was the Alex Goot concert. It was at bar in Pittsburgh, and there were about 5 acts to the show!  You definitely got your money's worth! I went with my cousin, Allie (you can find her blog here! ) and it was just a fun girls night! The show was in a bar which used to be an old church, so it was very pretty inside. We got there around 6,  parked, and only had to stand in line for 10 minutes before we got to go inside. When we went in, we got our tickets scanned and  BAM , there was Landon Austin and Luke Conard at their merchandise table. So, because I somehow gained oodles of confidence*, Allie and I went over and I said "Hi Landon!"  He said "hi" back and asked me my name. I had a card for him so I handed it to him and he asked if he should open it now or later. I said that it was up to him. We moved on to Luke Conar
