And the winner is...


The Louisville Cardinals are the National Champions of the college basketball world! Rick Pitino is now a National Championship winning coach with 2 different schools. (Louisville, and Kentucky) Kevin Ware watched his team win a championship, for him.

It was a pretty good game. (However, I will say that I was not following it as closely because I had no invested interest in either team.) I will say this, way back in March I picked Louisville as the National Champion, so that is saying something!

How does your bracket look? Did you have Louisville winning it all? I guess now we have to wait until October for the season to start up again. I'm going to miss it while it is gone.

Cooking for a Crowd: Spaghetti Sauce

My family likes to save money when we have parties. One way to do so is to cook everything ourselves, instead of hiring a caterer. Today, I wanted to give you a recipe for spaghetti sauce that will feed a crowd. This recipe is best made in an 18 quart roast pan. We bought most of our sauces and tomato paste at Costco. Ingredients: 2 onions 3 cans diced tomatoes 2 #10 cans of tomato sauce 1 #10 can on spaghetti sauce 1 heaping tsp of garlic minced 2 (28 oz) cans of crushed tomatoes 4 (6 oz) cans of tomato paste 1 tsp sugar Onion and garlic salt, italian seasoning, parsley, oregano to taste 1 pound of each: ground meat, hot and sweet sausage Look at the deliciousness!  In a skillet brown your meat and sausage in a little oil. YouTube-a-palooza

*Warning: this will be a long post, and picture heavy!*  :) Strictly based on the title alone I should have caught your attention! Sunday was the Alex Goot concert. It was at bar in Pittsburgh, and there were about 5 acts to the show!  You definitely got your money's worth! I went with my cousin, Allie (you can find her blog here! ) and it was just a fun girls night! The show was in a bar which used to be an old church, so it was very pretty inside. We got there around 6,  parked, and only had to stand in line for 10 minutes before we got to go inside. When we went in, we got our tickets scanned and  BAM , there was Landon Austin and Luke Conard at their merchandise table. So, because I somehow gained oodles of confidence*, Allie and I went over and I said "Hi Landon!"  He said "hi" back and asked me my name. High Five for Friday

Friday is here again! It is always a wonderful way to bring in the weekend. Here is what I loved this week. 1. I made another visit to Freedom Farms. I bought some apples, and bread. 2. I absolutely loved my Birchbox and Ipsy bags this month! The Ipsy review is coming tomorrow! 3. I am subbing today and I got to wear my jeans to school. I love days like that. 4.
