Equate 2 in 1 Daily Facial Cleansing Cloths Review

I went to a Penguins game recently. When I came home, it was 11:15 and the absolute last thing I wanted to do was take my makeup off. 15 minutes later, I was scrubbed clean and ready for bed. I needed a quicker solution. My makeup removal is a process. Use cotton balls to remove my eye makeup. Then, use my L'Oreal Go 360 Anti-Breakout cleanser, usually washing my face twice, to get rid of all of my makeup.

Late at night, it is a process that I just don't want to do. I had heard about the Olay Daily Facial cloths, but being the frugal gal I am, I didn't want to pay the price for so little cloths. I had briefly heard about the Equate cleansing cloths, and luckily found them in my store! For $8.47 I was able to get a total of 66 cloths. (In case you didn't know, Equate is a Wal-Mart brand.)

The cloths are a good size. One side is textured, so it gently exfoliates your face. These are dry cloths that you simply run under water. The cloth lathers from the soap that is already on the cloth. Simply run it over your face. I rinse the cloth and then wipe my face again. This melts my makeup off, including eye makeup! These cloths have little to no scent. One caution, all you need is to simply get the cloth wet. If you run it under the water too long, the suds will disappear.

I absolutely love these for the days that I am feeling lazy and still want my face to be clean. These cloths would be great for travel because you don't have to carry a liquid cleanser. The Equate Daily Facial cleansing cloths would also be great for gym goers. Throw a cloth in your gym bag and wash your face when you are done with your workout. Another bonus, they take up no space at all!

I don't plan on using these everyday. I plan on using them when I feel lazy and don't want to take my makeup off, or for travel.

Have you tried these? I'd love to hear from you! Please leave me a comment and let me know!

Cooking for a Crowd: Spaghetti Sauce

My family likes to save money when we have parties. One way to do so is to cook everything ourselves, instead of hiring a caterer. Today, I wanted to give you a recipe for spaghetti sauce that will feed a crowd. This recipe is best made in an 18 quart roast pan. We bought most of our sauces and tomato paste at Costco. Ingredients: 2 onions 3 cans diced tomatoes 2 #10 cans of tomato sauce 1 #10 can on spaghetti sauce 1 heaping tsp of garlic minced 2 (28 oz) cans of crushed tomatoes 4 (6 oz) cans of tomato paste 1 tsp sugar Onion and garlic salt, italian seasoning, parsley, oregano to taste 1 pound of each: ground meat, hot and sweet sausage Look at the deliciousness!  In a skillet brown your meat and sausage in a little oil. Once browned place off to the side. Combine your onions, garlic, diced tomatoes, and crushed tomatoes. *Sweat your onions down first, then add the garlic. Then your tomatoes.* Open your tomato sauces and spaghetti sauces (w...

Christmas/New Year's Recap

First, I just want to say that I have absolutely no pictures from Christmas. I'm terrible, I know. In my defense, I was sick all through Christmas and just wasn't feeling "it." I do however, have pictures of some of the gifts I received and New Year's. Christmas Eve dinner was hosted by my parents and I. We had lasagna, wedding soup, salad, bread, and Italian butter. I made a homemade alfredo sauce to go along with the lasagna. I also made the Italian butter, and attempted to make my homemade French bread. This year, the bread did not turn out. For dessert, I made white chocolate raspberry shooters. They were SO good! I will do a recipe on those when I make them again! After everything was cleaned up, we honestly just relaxed. I would have liked to have gone to Christmas Eve service at our church, but I was coughing, clearing my throat every 5 minutes, and blowing my nose every 10. I was a hot mess. My grandparents came back out to our house after church and w...
