October Ipsy Bag

This is my second Ipsy bag that I have received so far. I am liking this month a lot! Mainly for the products I received. Here is what I got!

The Bag: I LOVED this bag! I loved the red and white color, and I loved the quote! The bags are pretty good quality as well!

LA FRESH Oil Free Face Cleanser wipes- I am usually not a fan of wet wipes to clean my face, but in a pinch, these will work. These would be great travel, to refresh your face after a long car or plane ride.

STARLOOKS Lip Liner in Tickle Me Pink- I am not in the habit of using lip liners, but this color is pretty. I can see myself using this as either a liner, or to fill in my lips and swipe some gloss over top.

ZOYA in Giovanna- This is Full Size!! This color is an absolutely gorgeous emerald green shade with very micro glitter in it. This would be an absolutely beautiful shade for the Christmas season. This would look great on fingers and toes! This was great to see in the bag! I love Zoya polishes!

BIG SEXY HAIR Blow Dry Volumizing Gel- This is a new discovery to me. I haven't used gel in my hair since middle school, but I am curious to see if this would give me the volume I desire. The only thing I am concerned about is it drying out my hair because of the alcohol content. Don't worry, I will give you a review either way!

NOURISH ORGANIC Coconut and Argan Body Lotion- I am not a huge body lotion person, and the scent is very coconut-y. This will probably go in a gift basket or to a friend.

Overall, I loved this Ipsy bag. I loved the nail polish, and the gel and lip liner. Did you see what I got in my last Ipsy bag?

Cooking for a Crowd: Spaghetti Sauce

My family likes to save money when we have parties. One way to do so is to cook everything ourselves, instead of hiring a caterer. Today, I wanted to give you a recipe for spaghetti sauce that will feed a crowd. This recipe is best made in an 18 quart roast pan. We bought most of our sauces and tomato paste at Costco. Ingredients: 2 onions 3 cans diced tomatoes 2 #10 cans of tomato sauce 1 #10 can on spaghetti sauce 1 heaping tsp of garlic minced 2 (28 oz) cans of crushed tomatoes 4 (6 oz) cans of tomato paste 1 tsp sugar Onion and garlic salt, italian seasoning, parsley, oregano to taste 1 pound of each: ground meat, hot and sweet sausage Look at the deliciousness!  In a skillet brown your meat and sausage in a little oil. Once browned place off to the side. Combine your onions, garlic, diced tomatoes, and crushed tomatoes. *Sweat your onions down first, then add the garlic. Then your tomatoes.* Open your tomato sauces and spaghetti sauces (w...

Christmas/New Year's Recap

First, I just want to say that I have absolutely no pictures from Christmas. I'm terrible, I know. In my defense, I was sick all through Christmas and just wasn't feeling "it." I do however, have pictures of some of the gifts I received and New Year's. Christmas Eve dinner was hosted by my parents and I. We had lasagna, wedding soup, salad, bread, and Italian butter. I made a homemade alfredo sauce to go along with the lasagna. I also made the Italian butter, and attempted to make my homemade French bread. This year, the bread did not turn out. For dessert, I made white chocolate raspberry shooters. They were SO good! I will do a recipe on those when I make them again! After everything was cleaned up, we honestly just relaxed. I would have liked to have gone to Christmas Eve service at our church, but I was coughing, clearing my throat every 5 minutes, and blowing my nose every 10. I was a hot mess. My grandparents came back out to our house after church and w...
