Food for Thought

I love quotes and sayings. I have some just randomly hanging on my bulletin board in my bedroom. I found some really awesome and thought provoking sayings on the Salada teabags. I enjoyed them, so I figured you would too! *There are no authors on these*

A gem is not polished without rubbing, nor man made perfect without trials.

Desk-A wastepaper basket with drawers. (Isn't this SO true??)

Swinging nightclubs offer evening golf. (I though this one was funny!)

A perfect example of minority rule is a baby in the house. (Any parents reading this? Is this true?)

Kindness is the oil that takes the friction out of life. (Being kind really helps everyone!)

Lastly, my favorite of the bunch:

Money lent to a friend may have to be recovered from an enemy. (Has this ever happened to anyone? It can be definitely true!)

I just really enjoyed these sayings, and a lot of them are really true if you take time to think about it. It gives you a different spin on things. Share these along with your friends!

Cooking for a Crowd: Spaghetti Sauce

My family likes to save money when we have parties. One way to do so is to cook everything ourselves, instead of hiring a caterer. Today, I wanted to give you a recipe for spaghetti sauce that will feed a crowd. This recipe is best made in an 18 quart roast pan. We bought most of our sauces and tomato paste at Costco. It's Been Awhile...

 Hi! Do you remember me and this little blog? I've been thinking about starting this blog back up again, and I am just going to jump in with both feet and go for it!
