Rimmel Stay Glossy Review

Let's take a step back into my high school years. All I ever wore on my lips was lip gloss. Pinks, reds, clear. You name it, I had it. In through college, I wore lipstick and would swipe on some gloss every now and again. Ever since I have been out of college, it has been straight lipstick. I've been trying to break back into the gloss scene, so I decided to give the Rimmel Stay Glossy glosses a try!

These claim to last 6 hours, but I am here to tell you that it doesn't. That is not a huge issue for me though. I like that it is not overly sticky. You can wear this on a windy day and you wouldn't get the "hair goop" from your hair getting stuck in your lip gloss! :) I bought the shade All Night Long, and it is a mauve-y/berry color. It has iridescent glitter in it, but you absolutely cannot tell it on your lips. I chose this shade because it would look good on my lips without lipstick, but also would look nice over lipstick. Application is a breeze with the flat doe foot applicator.

I love to pair this gloss with my Rimmel Lasting Finish by Kate lipstick in number 104. This is my perfect "my lips but better" (mlbb) shade, and with the Rimmel gloss over top, it is absolutely beautiful!

There are tons of different shades for you to choose from! I am definitely starting to be on the Rimmel lip product bandwagon! Oh and can I just say, that when I spy the Rimmel Showoff Lip Lacquers, they will be mine!

Have you tried the Rimmel Stay Glossy glosses? What was your opinion of them? Leave me a comment and let me know!

Cooking for a Crowd: Spaghetti Sauce

My family likes to save money when we have parties. One way to do so is to cook everything ourselves, instead of hiring a caterer. Today, I wanted to give you a recipe for spaghetti sauce that will feed a crowd. This recipe is best made in an 18 quart roast pan. We bought most of our sauces and tomato paste at Costco. Ingredients: 2 onions 3 cans diced tomatoes 2 #10 cans of tomato sauce 1 #10 can on spaghetti sauce 1 heaping tsp of garlic minced 2 (28 oz) cans of crushed tomatoes 4 (6 oz) cans of tomato paste 1 tsp sugar Onion and garlic salt, italian seasoning, parsley, oregano to taste 1 pound of each: ground meat, hot and sweet sausage Look at the deliciousness!  In a skillet brown your meat and sausage in a little oil. Once browned place off to the side. Combine your onions, garlic, diced tomatoes, and crushed tomatoes. *Sweat your onions down first, then add the garlic. Then your tomatoes.* Open your tomato sauces and spaghetti sauces (w...

Christmas/New Year's Recap

First, I just want to say that I have absolutely no pictures from Christmas. I'm terrible, I know. In my defense, I was sick all through Christmas and just wasn't feeling "it." I do however, have pictures of some of the gifts I received and New Year's. Christmas Eve dinner was hosted by my parents and I. We had lasagna, wedding soup, salad, bread, and Italian butter. I made a homemade alfredo sauce to go along with the lasagna. I also made the Italian butter, and attempted to make my homemade French bread. This year, the bread did not turn out. For dessert, I made white chocolate raspberry shooters. They were SO good! I will do a recipe on those when I make them again! After everything was cleaned up, we honestly just relaxed. I would have liked to have gone to Christmas Eve service at our church, but I was coughing, clearing my throat every 5 minutes, and blowing my nose every 10. I was a hot mess. My grandparents came back out to our house after church and w...
