Wet N Wild Cherry Picking Review

If you would have told me a year ago that I would fall in love with matte lipsticks I would've thought you were crazy. Me, being the lipstick hoarder that I am, knew I just had to try this. I first saw this lip color on FleurdeForce, and thought she looked absolutely amazing in it. When I found out it was Wet N Wild and was $2, I had to have it.

The color is a beautiful raspberry red. Not a true red, and not pink either. It's matte, which makes the staying power incredible! This lasted through a meal and then some. You almost don't even have to touch up afterwards. It is a touch on the dry side like most matte lipsticks are, but I haven't had a problem with it honestly. If it bothered you, I'm sure a quick swipe of lip balm underneath or a gloss over top would make it more moisturizing.

The only downfall these have is the packaging. You are bound to get some lipstick on the cap unless you are super careful when opening the lip color. I am, so it is not a huge deal for me.

These come in a wide shade range, but I would imagine the darker you go, the more staying power it has. For only $2, I would definitely check this one out!

Do you love Wet N Wild products as much as I do? Leave me a comment and tell me which ones are your favorites!

Cooking for a Crowd: Spaghetti Sauce

My family likes to save money when we have parties. One way to do so is to cook everything ourselves, instead of hiring a caterer. Today, I wanted to give you a recipe for spaghetti sauce that will feed a crowd. This recipe is best made in an 18 quart roast pan. We bought most of our sauces and tomato paste at Costco. Ingredients: 2 onions 3 cans diced tomatoes 2 #10 cans of tomato sauce 1 #10 can on spaghetti sauce 1 heaping tsp of garlic minced 2 (28 oz) cans of crushed tomatoes 4 (6 oz) cans of tomato paste 1 tsp sugar Onion and garlic salt, italian seasoning, parsley, oregano to taste 1 pound of each: ground meat, hot and sweet sausage Look at the deliciousness!  In a skillet brown your meat and sausage in a little oil. Once browned place off to the side. Combine your onions, garlic, diced tomatoes, and crushed tomatoes. *Sweat your onions down first, then add the garlic. Then your tomatoes.* Open your tomato sauces and spaghetti sauces (w...

YouTube-a-palooza

*Warning: this will be a long post, and picture heavy!*  :) Strictly based on the title alone I should have caught your attention! Sunday was the Alex Goot concert. It was at bar in Pittsburgh, and there were about 5 acts to the show!  You definitely got your money's worth! I went with my cousin, Allie (you can find her blog here! ) and it was just a fun girls night! The show was in a bar which used to be an old church, so it was very pretty inside. We got there around 6,  parked, and only had to stand in line for 10 minutes before we got to go inside. When we went in, we got our tickets scanned and  BAM , there was Landon Austin and Luke Conard at their merchandise table. So, because I somehow gained oodles of confidence*, Allie and I went over and I said "Hi Landon!"  He said "hi" back and asked me my name. I had a card for him so I handed it to him and he asked if he should open it now or later. I said that it was up to him. We moved on to Luke Conar...
