Wal-Mart Beauty Haul

I got some "new to me" beauty products this past weekend at Wal-Mart. The beauty aisle is the first place I go to when I go to any store. As if I needed anything else but, two products caught my eye. Shocking, I know.

Rimmel Stay Glossy 6hr lip gloss These were on an end cap, away from the Rimmel line. I'll admit, I buy into the gimmick. I got the shade All Night Long. I've only wore this once, but it isn't sticky, or goopy. I'll have a full review on this once I wear it more. I believe this was $3.89.

My second product was a mascara. A girl's gotta get her essentials. ;)

Maybelline Great Last Lots of Lashes The unique brush sucked me in. It is cone shaped, and looks like it will grab the lashes in my inner corner unlike my LashBlast that I have been using. I got the Blackest Black shade. I have not tried this yet, as I am using my last bit of LashBlast before I dive into this one. Maybelline Great Lash was my first mascara, and I didn't mind it, so I am interested to see how this one is. This was $4.44. A review will be coming whenever I use it and can really get a good grip on whether I like it or not. Again, other mascaras that some people love, others hate. It is a matter of preference.

Have you tried any of these products? Have you seen these around? Leave me a comment and let me know!

Cooking for a Crowd: Spaghetti Sauce

My family likes to save money when we have parties. One way to do so is to cook everything ourselves, instead of hiring a caterer. Today, I wanted to give you a recipe for spaghetti sauce that will feed a crowd. This recipe is best made in an 18 quart roast pan. We bought most of our sauces and tomato paste at Costco. Ingredients: 2 onions 3 cans diced tomatoes 2 #10 cans of tomato sauce 1 #10 can on spaghetti sauce 1 heaping tsp of garlic minced 2 (28 oz) cans of crushed tomatoes 4 (6 oz) cans of tomato paste 1 tsp sugar Onion and garlic salt, italian seasoning, parsley, oregano to taste 1 pound of each: ground meat, hot and sweet sausage Look at the deliciousness!  In a skillet brown your meat and sausage in a little oil. Once browned place off to the side. Combine your onions, garlic, diced tomatoes, and crushed tomatoes. *Sweat your onions down first, then add the garlic. Then your tomatoes.* Open your tomato sauces and spaghetti sauces (w...

YouTube-a-palooza

*Warning: this will be a long post, and picture heavy!*  :) Strictly based on the title alone I should have caught your attention! Sunday was the Alex Goot concert. It was at bar in Pittsburgh, and there were about 5 acts to the show!  You definitely got your money's worth! I went with my cousin, Allie (you can find her blog here! ) and it was just a fun girls night! The show was in a bar which used to be an old church, so it was very pretty inside. We got there around 6,  parked, and only had to stand in line for 10 minutes before we got to go inside. When we went in, we got our tickets scanned and  BAM , there was Landon Austin and Luke Conard at their merchandise table. So, because I somehow gained oodles of confidence*, Allie and I went over and I said "Hi Landon!"  He said "hi" back and asked me my name. I had a card for him so I handed it to him and he asked if he should open it now or later. I said that it was up to him. We moved on to Luke Conar...
