Food for Thought Part 2

I wasn't going to turn this into a series, but I figured as long as I am drinking iced tea, I might as well share these adorable puns with all of you! These come from the Salada tea bags, and are just too cute, and too accurate not to post! *There are no authors on these.*

1. "Good and bad luck are often mistaken for good and bad judgement." Is this not so true? There are many scenarios where this can apply.

2. "Mind over matter: if you don't mind, it don't matter." Such a simple saying yet so true.

3. "Sculptor's favorite food: marble cake." Could you see this being turned into a joke? "Hey what's a sculptors favorite food?" "I don't know, what?" "Marble cake!" Laughter ensues!

4. "When you dial a wrong number, you never get a busy signal." Think about it...

I have some of these saying left over so I will post them sometime again. I just really enjoy these and hope they bring a smile to your face!

Cooking for a Crowd: Spaghetti Sauce

My family likes to save money when we have parties. One way to do so is to cook everything ourselves, instead of hiring a caterer. Today, I wanted to give you a recipe for spaghetti sauce that will feed a crowd. This recipe is best made in an 18 quart roast pan. We bought most of our sauces and tomato paste at Costco. Ingredients: 2 onions 3 cans diced tomatoes 2 #10 cans of tomato sauce 1 #10 can on spaghetti sauce 1 heaping tsp of garlic minced 2 (28 oz) cans of crushed tomatoes 4 (6 oz) cans of tomato paste 1 tsp sugar Onion and garlic salt, italian seasoning, parsley, oregano to taste 1 pound of each: ground meat, hot and sweet sausage Look at the deliciousness! In a skillet brown your meat and sausage in a little oil. Once browned place off to the side. YouTube-a-palooza

*Warning: this will be a long post, and picture heavy!* :) Strictly based on the title alone I should have caught your attention! Sunday was the Alex Goot concert. It was at bar in Pittsburgh, and there were about 5 acts to the show! You definitely got your money's worth! I went with my cousin, Allie (you can find her blog here! ) and it was just a fun girls night! The show was in a bar which used to be an old church, so it was very pretty inside. We got there around 6, parked, and only had to stand in line for 10 minutes before we got to go inside. When we went in, we got our tickets scanned and BAM , there was Landon Austin and Luke Conard at their merchandise table. So, because I somehow gained oodles of confidence*, Allie and I went over and I said "Hi Landon!" He said "hi" back and asked me my name.
