Wedding Wednesday Part 1

I'm not sure how long this mini series will last, but enjoy Wedding Wednesday!

I have a few friends who are getting married in the near future, so I figured why not share some of my inspiration boards from Pinterest to maybe help you out! When am I getting married you ask? Haha. Whenever Prince Charming comes!

Anyway, I hope this helps you with your wedding planning!

My Wedding Style: I'm a traditionalist. Think traditional processional, recessional, and vows. Here are a few things I love, and hopefully you can gain some inspiration from what I like!

Here are a few of my favorite pins!

1, 2, and 3-carat.. nice pic to see differences This picture shows 1, 2, and 3 ring carat sizes. Show these to your Prince Charming, and don't forget the 4 C's: cut, color, clarity, and carat!!

I know I've pinned this ring several times already but i love this angle of it. This ring is perfection. This ring is my favorite. It symbolizes the "cord of 3 strands in not equally broken" Bible verse. (Ecc.4:12)

For brides-to-be! This site has 10 great tips to do when you first get engaged!

engagement pictures at your teams stadium, I'll remember this when I marry Tim Tebow. If you are a sports fan, can you imagine getting engagement pictures at your favorite stadium? (Cameron Indoor, I'm coming for you!)

what to wear for engagement photos In case you aren't a sports fan, here's how to coordinate your outfits on engagement picture day!

Stay tuned for next Wednesday when we look at DRESSES!!

In the end, it is you and your fiancée's special day. Do what you both want, because looking back at it, it is a day you both won't forget!

Are you a traditionalist? What does your ideal wedding look like? Leave me a comment and let me know, I'd love to hear from you!

Cooking for a Crowd: Spaghetti Sauce

My family likes to save money when we have parties. One way to do so is to cook everything ourselves, instead of hiring a caterer. Today, I wanted to give you a recipe for spaghetti sauce that will feed a crowd. This recipe is best made in an 18 quart roast pan. We bought most of our sauces and tomato paste at Costco. Ingredients: 2 onions 3 cans diced tomatoes 2 #10 cans of tomato sauce 1 #10 can on spaghetti sauce 1 heaping tsp of garlic minced 2 (28 oz) cans of crushed tomatoes 4 (6 oz) cans of tomato paste 1 tsp sugar Onion and garlic salt, italian seasoning, parsley, oregano to taste 1 pound of each: ground meat, hot and sweet sausage Look at the deliciousness!  In a skillet brown your meat and sausage in a little oil. Once browned place off to the side. Combine your onions, garlic, diced tomatoes, and crushed tomatoes. *Sweat your onions down first, then add the garlic. Then your tomatoes.* Open your tomato sauces and spaghetti sauces (w...

High Five for Friday

I just want it to be Christmas, because I have some amazing posts for you already planned out! 5. I discovered that McDonald's iced coffee with caramel is AMAZING! Thanks, Lauren for the link up! What about you? How was your week? Leave me a comment , I'd love to hear from you!

Christmas/New Year's Recap

First, I just want to say that I have absolutely no pictures from Christmas. I'm terrible, I know. In my defense, I was sick all through Christmas and just wasn't feeling "it." I do however, have pictures of some of the gifts I received and New Year's. Christmas Eve dinner was hosted by my parents and I. We had lasagna, wedding soup, salad, bread, and Italian butter. I made a homemade alfredo sauce to go along with the lasagna. I also made the Italian butter, and attempted to make my homemade French bread. This year, the bread did not turn out. For dessert, I made white chocolate raspberry shooters. They were SO good! I will do a recipe on those when I make them again! After everything was cleaned up, we honestly just relaxed. I would have liked to have gone to Christmas Eve service at our church, but I was coughing, clearing my throat every 5 minutes, and blowing my nose every 10. I was a hot mess. My grandparents came back out to our house after church and w...
