Wedding Wednesday Part 3

This is the last part in the Wedding Wednesday series! I hope you enjoyed it! If you want to catch up on parts 1 and 2 click on the highlighted links!

These are just a few other odds and ends that I love!

Love this for the day after the wedding, plane ride on the honeymoon. I think wearing your new monogram the day after the wedding is so chic. What a great outfit to travel to your honeymoon in!

I absolutely LOVE this! Put this on your program and tell the photographer, I'm sure you will spy some people trying it!

while on honeymoon, send yourself a postcard every day from where ever you are and write on it what you did that day. once home, bind them for an instant scrapbook of your trip: complete with photos, stamps, and a run-down of each days events. LOVE this idea!!! This is so smart. Postcards are cheap, and you have a great memory of your honeymoon that looks cute and you can put on display!

Did you know that if you send Mickey and Minnie Mouse an invitation to your wedding they’ll send you back an autographed photo and a ‘Just Married’ button? Also, if you send Cinderella and Prince Charming an invitation, you’ll get an autographed congratulatory certificate. Here are the addresses: Micky & Minnie The Walt Disney Company 500 South Buena Vista Street Burbank, California 91521 Cinderella and Prince Charming P.O. Box 1000 Lake Buena Vista, Florida 32830 OH MY GOSH ... What girl doesn't want an autographed photo from Mickey and Minnie, and Cinderella and Prince Charming? This is too darn cute for words and such a great keepsake!

I hope you enjoyed this series, and I hope it has helped you or someone you know that is getting married! To many happy years!

Cooking for a Crowd: Spaghetti Sauce

My family likes to save money when we have parties. One way to do so is to cook everything ourselves, instead of hiring a caterer. Today, I wanted to give you a recipe for spaghetti sauce that will feed a crowd. This recipe is best made in an 18 quart roast pan. We bought most of our sauces and tomato paste at Costco. Ingredients: 2 onions 3 cans diced tomatoes 2 #10 cans of tomato sauce 1 #10 can on spaghetti sauce 1 heaping tsp of garlic minced 2 (28 oz) cans of crushed tomatoes 4 (6 oz) cans of tomato paste 1 tsp sugar Onion and garlic salt, italian seasoning, parsley, oregano to taste 1 pound of each: ground meat, hot and sweet sausage Look at the deliciousness!  In a skillet brown your meat and sausage in a little oil. Once browned place off to the side. Combine your onions, garlic, diced tomatoes, and crushed tomatoes. *Sweat your onions down first, then add the garlic. Then your tomatoes.* Open your tomato sauces and spaghetti sauces (w...

Christmas/New Year's Recap

First, I just want to say that I have absolutely no pictures from Christmas. I'm terrible, I know. In my defense, I was sick all through Christmas and just wasn't feeling "it." I do however, have pictures of some of the gifts I received and New Year's. Christmas Eve dinner was hosted by my parents and I. We had lasagna, wedding soup, salad, bread, and Italian butter. I made a homemade alfredo sauce to go along with the lasagna. I also made the Italian butter, and attempted to make my homemade French bread. This year, the bread did not turn out. For dessert, I made white chocolate raspberry shooters. They were SO good! I will do a recipe on those when I make them again! After everything was cleaned up, we honestly just relaxed. I would have liked to have gone to Christmas Eve service at our church, but I was coughing, clearing my throat every 5 minutes, and blowing my nose every 10. I was a hot mess. My grandparents came back out to our house after church and w...
