Wedding Wednesday Part 2

Welcome to the second Wedding Wednesday post! You can find part 1 here! Today we are going to look at dresses!

*Each bride has her own unique individual style. Choose what is best for you!

My Style: I am a traditionalist, and I am not a fan of strapless dresses. I loved Kate Middleton's dress. It was classy, yet elegant.

Kate Middleton Front view. To me, this is classic perfection. It's sexy without being sseeexxyyy. Does that make sense?

love lace and one shoulder but gotta get rid of the bow! This dress, is lovely. I love the one shoulder look. Myself, I could do without the bow.

I really like this for a reception dress. This dress would be a great reception dress.

If this had straps, I'd love it even more! It reminds me of Lesley Ann Warren's dress in Cinderella. With a little tweaking, this dress would be absolutely beautiful! Can you imagine dancing around the dance floor with this flowing around you?

I really like this dress!!! I think this dress is great for showing off your figure, while keeping it modest. The ruched detail creates a hourglass figure.

I hope you have found some inspiration in these dresses. Don't forget to enlist the help of a trusted family member or friend to help you choose your dress and get an honest opinion from them!

Stay tuned next week, for the last part in the series!

Cooking for a Crowd: Spaghetti Sauce

My family likes to save money when we have parties. One way to do so is to cook everything ourselves, instead of hiring a caterer. Today, I wanted to give you a recipe for spaghetti sauce that will feed a crowd. This recipe is best made in an 18 quart roast pan. We bought most of our sauces and tomato paste at Costco. Ingredients: 2 onions 3 cans diced tomatoes 2 #10 cans of tomato sauce 1 #10 can on spaghetti sauce 1 heaping tsp of garlic minced 2 (28 oz) cans of crushed tomatoes 4 (6 oz) cans of tomato paste 1 tsp sugar Onion and garlic salt, italian seasoning, parsley, oregano to taste 1 pound of each: ground meat, hot and sweet sausage Look at the deliciousness!  In a skillet brown your meat and sausage in a little oil. Once browned place off to the side. Combine your onions, garlic, diced tomatoes, and crushed tomatoes. *Sweat your onions down first, then add the garlic. Then your tomatoes.* Open your tomato sauces and spaghetti sauces (w...

Christmas/New Year's Recap

First, I just want to say that I have absolutely no pictures from Christmas. I'm terrible, I know. In my defense, I was sick all through Christmas and just wasn't feeling "it." I do however, have pictures of some of the gifts I received and New Year's. Christmas Eve dinner was hosted by my parents and I. We had lasagna, wedding soup, salad, bread, and Italian butter. I made a homemade alfredo sauce to go along with the lasagna. I also made the Italian butter, and attempted to make my homemade French bread. This year, the bread did not turn out. For dessert, I made white chocolate raspberry shooters. They were SO good! I will do a recipe on those when I make them again! After everything was cleaned up, we honestly just relaxed. I would have liked to have gone to Christmas Eve service at our church, but I was coughing, clearing my throat every 5 minutes, and blowing my nose every 10. I was a hot mess. My grandparents came back out to our house after church and w...
