What's in my Purse?

I got a new purse after Christmas during one of the after Christmas sales at Marshalls. It is by the brand MMS and is a Royal Blue in color. I have an organizer in it that I got from Walgreens a year or two ago. I know the norm at the moment is to carry a small bag, but I like to carry a big bag filled with the essentials. Although, I do like a wristlet every now and again. Here are the items that's in my purse!

  • Wallet and checkbook (JC Penney a VERY long time ago!)
  • Wet Ones wipes (great for shopping cart handles!)
  • Folding hair brush with mirror
  • Lipstick
  • Keys
  • Hairspray and hair tie
  • Hand sanitizer
  • Asprin
  • Atomizer  (Nordstrom)
  • Phone
  • Paper and Pen (Paradise Pen Company)
  • Oil blotting sheets (ELF)
  • Hand lotion
  • Sunglasses (case from Thirty One)
  • Bandaids
I like having my essentials with me and then sizing down if need be. What's in your purse? Is it organized?

Cooking for a Crowd: Spaghetti Sauce

My family likes to save money when we have parties. One way to do so is to cook everything ourselves, instead of hiring a caterer. Today, I wanted to give you a recipe for spaghetti sauce that will feed a crowd. This recipe is best made in an 18 quart roast pan. We bought most of our sauces and tomato paste at Costco. YouTube-a-palooza

*Warning: this will be a long post, and picture heavy!*  :) Strictly based on the title alone I should have caught your attention! Sunday was the Alex Goot concert. It was at bar in Pittsburgh, and there were about 5 acts to the show!  You definitely got your money's worth! I went with my cousin, Allie (you can find her blog here! ) and it was just a fun girls night! The show was in a bar which used to be an old church, so it was very pretty inside. We got there around 6,  parked, and only had to stand in line for 10 minutes before we got to go inside. When we went in, we got our tickets scanned and  BAM , there was Landon Austin and Luke Conard at their merchandise table. So, because I somehow gained oodles of confidence*, Allie and I went over and I said "Hi Landon!"  He said "hi" back and asked me my name. High Five for Friday

Friday is here again! It is always a wonderful way to bring in the weekend. Here is what I loved this week. 1. I made another visit to Freedom Farms. I bought some apples, and bread. 2. I absolutely loved my Birchbox and Ipsy bags this month! The Ipsy review is coming tomorrow! 3. I am subbing today and I got to wear my jeans to school. I love days like that. 4.
